A renaissance woman, Lindianne is well suited to pen an historical novel of the Renaissance. She earned her degree in History at Princeton University. Leaving behind a career on Wall Street, she lived for fifteen years in the rural Pacific Northwest where she farmed organically and operated an organic bakery. When not writing, Lindi teaches music in schools and privately. She is active in Tucson’s local faith community and is committed to developing locally based and sustainable economic models.
Gary William Kuitert was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to William and Marion Kuitert. Educated in Grand Rapids' public school system, he became interested in history at an early age. He began playing music at age 12, and played percussion until age 22.
After high school he joined the military and earned jump wings at Ft. Benning, Ga. In 1966 he shipped to Vietnam and served with the Reconnaissance platoon of the 2nd battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 173rd Airborne Brigade. In 1967 he returned to the USA, and served at Fort Bragg, NC with the 82nd Airborne Division.
In 1969 he began college, eventually graduating from Grand Valley State College with a degree in sociology. While at college, Gary founded the rock bluegrass band Cabbage Crik. During Cabbage Crik's 12 years, Gary lived and gardened in the farmlands of western Michigan, playing hammered dulcimer, guitar, mandolin, and dobro.
In 1980, Gary moved to Tucson, AZ and founded bluegrass-western-swing band Titan Valley Warheads, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2006.
Gary works as a project manager/facilities consultant.
